Performance Evaluation Of Government Information

At present, the information technology wave sweeping the globe, make full use of modern information technology to the work of the government to achieve the Government’s management of information technology, electronics, in order to promote the transformation of government functions, improve the efficiency of government work to promote openness in government affairs and clean government and improveservice capabilities and reduce administrative costs, all levels of government in the new situation with the times necessary. Accurate assessment of the performance of government information technology, will be able to timely detection of defects and shortcomings in the process of government information technology, in order to improve the basis for the government’s information construction and development-oriented. Performance assessment of government information, there are many problems, such as the assessment of the main single, one-sided assessment standards to assess the awareness of the existence of errors. This paper attempts to rely on the research results of the performance evaluation of domestic and foreign government information, lack of work for our government information technology performance evaluation, try to build a performance evaluation model for China’s government information technology, and the establishment of information under this model index System to government information technology performance evaluation reference value. Meanwhile, Hubei Province, for example do an empirical analysis to verify the feasibility of the indicator system and assessment results to make conclusions and recommendations.
