| Basketball, due to it’s very interesting and benificial to the development of physical fitness, develops a lot in recent years, and there is a solid mass foundation. Many primary students joined the basketball under the influence of the pupils, parents and teachers and have generally expressed the fondness of basketball. Regulations on level one, level two, level three of the physical education and health teachers have opted for small basketball as a teaching reference book. In addition, basketball is also one of the important projects on pupils’extra-curricular activities and sports meeting. Primary school basketball teaching has positive significance on the entertainment facilities to develop basic physical ability, to strengthen students’constitution, such as the growth of basketball reserve forces. This study selects primary school basketball teaching status in Taiyuan as investigation, and regards the teachers and students in primary school of sports as research object, using literature information law, and questionnaire investigation law, and interview law, and scene observation law, and data analysis law on primary school of basketball teaching status for investigation, to analyse the basketball teachers’s situation, basketball teaching, and basketball amateur training and extracurricular basketball activities, students situation, aspects expand investigation, to find the existing problem in teaching, put forward some specific countermeasures to promote the primary reference for the development of basketball in Taiyuan City.Results of the investigation are as Below:basketball movement in Taiyuan was popular, but the schools which have the basketball class are less; venues equipment are more like adult, per capita owness volume was low;45%of teachers controled the basketball teaching class in8class, and compared to the requirements for teachers it is less; lack of localization textbook; attention to the basketball game, ignored the basketball theory teaching, the needs of men and women’s health on basic technology are different; most of the examination are still track and field, and while knowing new evaluation method, but they still use the traditional evaluation method. Teachers are younger, and about79.7%teachers are undergraduate, but there is no female basketball teachers. They are not so interested in continual education.66%of teachers said that they were willing to take part in the sports teaching reform, but the fear for the security accident has became a large obstacles in sports teaching and reform. Teachers, students and parents are not so aware of small basketball, and leaders take not so much attention on it; amateur training rate is high, but regional development is not balanced, strong teams are more in Yingze district and Xinghualing District.Development recommends are as blew:cater to the students’needs, carry out basketball module teaching; optimize the resources configuration, consider to the features of pupils on new purchased equipment; extend the teaching hours and teaching content, method and means; try to produce local basketball textbook; change traditional evaluation way; focus on teachers’ construction, take regularly organization of sports teachers’ continual learning, and assess on its teaching capacity examination; regard the students’physique level as a standard of leaders’promotion, and change ideas, sign the security agreement, a basketball teacher should have a sense of security; establish the honour of excellent coach and outstanding tutorial title in the game, which can add grades in professional title evaluation, open the extracurricular Basketball Club, and organize the "family fun day". |
