For biology, a lab-based science, experimental ability is the embodiment of practice ability andinnovation ability. Developing students’ experimental ability is necessary for students to improve theirscientific literacy. Setting up problem situations and students’ discussions in group are the basic links ininquiry teaching. According to the interviews of teachers and students questionnaire, the paper analyzes theeffects of experimental teaching method on different students’ experimental ability. By using observationmethod, we experiment on the students’ interest under the situation which we set up and recorder somepositive factors. Experimental research studies the influence of the student’s ability of different degree oflearning. We use experimental test scores to quantify student experimental and statistical ability. The studyfound setting up a certain situation, dishing out experimental problems and letting students to discuss theproblem in group significantly increase students curiosity and enthusiasm and improve a part of studentsbiological experiment ability, which shows that the creation of situations and organizing students’discussion can improve students’ analysis ability to designing experiments, experimental operation abilityand innovative ability in practice.After examining this article came to the following conclusion:1. Created experiment problem situation and students’ discussion for improve students’ biologicalexperiment capacity has active of effect:(1) Enhanced the experiment of interest.(2) Students discussion problem of enthusiasm has proved.(3)It has improved students’ analysis, and design experiment of capacity and experiment operationcapacity.2. Teaching should accord to the reality determines teaching mode.3. After students’ discussion and published views, teachers should give correctly of summary timely.4. The teaching method of Problem--Discussion-Summary classroom.
