Helping students to understand the nature of science is one of the most important goalsof science education, but also one of the core components of cultivating students’ scientiifcliteracy. Teachers penetrate the nature of science mainly through teaching in class. Based onthis, this study selects "chemical bond” teaching as the research object. It attempts to analyzethe key views of the nature of science and instructional strategies in "chemical bond”teaching through the observation of the teaching behavior. So that, it can provide advice forteachers to penetrate the nature of science in chemistry education. This paper adopts the method of literature analysis, classroom observation andinterviews to study. First, analyze the current situation of teachers’ views of nature of sciencebye the literature; and then, observe three proifcient teachers’ teaching behavior in the” bond” teaching, and follow-up interviews on it; ifnally, make a comprehensive analysis of theteacher’s teaching to mining the key views of the nature of science, and to ifnd out thecommonness and individuality of teachers’ performance in the concept teaching. In order thatit can provide constructive suggestions for the concept teaching. The research main conclusions are as follows:(1) The subject of chemistry has thescientiifc nature of its own;(2) Chemical bond content penetrates mainl“y Observation,Inference, and Theoretical Entities in Science”、"The worth of Scientiifc Theories”、"TheTentative Nature of Scientiifc Knowledge";(3) The level of three teachers of the nature ofscience teaching behavior is unsatisfactory.Considering the current teachers’ nature of science teaching situation, The paper givessome advice:(1) Chemistry curriculum standards should propose nature of science educationobjectives clearly, guiding the direction of teaching;(2) Teachers should actively mining thenature of subjects and the thinking mode in the teaching process;(3) Teachers should enrichthemselves, reading more history of chemistry and the books of the nature of science.
