About symbols and symbolic interactionism research can be traced back to theearliest times before Socrates. But the time about the education of symbol andsymbolic interaction using research is short, and more focus on the research oflanguage symbols, such as language, words, etc. Nonverbal symbol in the classroomis a common teaching means. As a kind of language symbol’s accompany andsupplement, nonverbal symbol even become a part of the education teaching. Thispaper, from the perspective of nonverbal symbols to "feature" classroom teaching, sums up several kinds of nonverbal symbols that often be used in the classroomteaching by teachers, through these representative nonverbal symbols to analysis thefunction and meaning during the classroom teaching.This research mainly use literature analysis to clear the thread of nonverbalsymbols in the educate, Lay a theoretical foundation for the study.Secondly, I choosethe structure observation method, use the observation form to collect data to analysisand research.This paper mainly includes the following five parts:The first part is introduction. Including the background of the research,significance of the research, literature review and research methods.The second part is the interpretation of the concept. Including symbols, languagesymbols, nonverbal symbols, symbolic interactionism basic definition of concept,and nonverbal symbol classification, characteristics and function, etc.The third part is the research design. Including the research question, theresearch object, research methods, data collection and processing and the results ofthe study appear.The fourth part is the role of nonverbal symbols discrimination. Analysis thepositive and the negative effect when we use the nonverbal symbols.The fifth part is the use of language symbols countermeasures and thesuggestions. Mainly discusses the suggestion I put forward about how to use thenonverbal symbols in the teaching.
