With the rapid socio-economic development, the relationship between thepopulation and the economy has become the hot question of the modern humansociety. Population changes have an impact on economic development, economicdevelopment also have great influence on the population changes, so the interactionrelationship between the population and the economy. Xinjiang is located in theethnic minority areas in western China has a unique geographical location, is also along time to a variety of nationalities live together in the region.Read and collect a lot of literature and data about our region’s population andeconomic,analysis of the population status and economic development status of ourregion, Main results:The size of population,in2000years, our region’s totalpopulation of1849.41million, a birth rate to17.57‰, the mortality rate was5.4‰,the natural growth rate to12.17‰,to2010years,our region’s total population rose to2181.58million, but the birth rate、death rate and natural growth rate decreased to14.85‰、4.14‰、10.71‰;The quality of population aspects,in2000years, ourregion’s illiteracy rate and life expectancy were9.11%and67.41years old, to2010years, the illiteracy rate has dropped to2.66%, life expectancy increased to72.35years old; The structure of the population aspects, our region’s population sex ratiohas maintained a state of equilibrium, the age structure is in the adult-type, but mostof the age of the labor force is older; The distribution and migration Populationaspects, the beginning of the founding of New China, our region’s urban populationis12.25%of the total population, to2010years, This ratio rose to46.59%. Ourregion’s economic development status be summed up in four: First,in2000years, ourregion’s GDP and per capita GDP of136.356billion yuan and7372yuan,to2010years, our region’s GDP and per capita GDP increased to543.747billion yuan and25057yuan, respectively, both of which showed a significantly increasing trend;Second,in2000years, our region’s total value of the first、 second、 third industrywas28.818billion yuan、53.758billion yuan、53.75billion yuan,in2010years,thisvalue increased to107.863billion yuan、259.215billion yuan、176.669billion yuan;Third,in2000years, our region’s financial income and financial expenditure of7.907billion yuan and19.095billion yuan, to2010years, this date increased to50.058billion yuan and169.891billion yuan; Fourth,in2000years, our region’s agriculture、forestry、animal husbandry、fishery output value and industrial output value of48.72billion yuan and41.863billion yuan, to2010years,this value increased to 184.618billion yuan and216.139billion yuan, Agriculture、forestry、 animalhusbandry、 fishery output value is greater than the total industrial output value in2000years, the total industrial output value is greater than agriculture、forestry、animal husbandry、fishery output value in2010years.Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, a combinationof dynamic and static analysis and principal component analysis, analysis ofcoordinated development of our region’s population and economic,from2000to2010, the coordinated development coefficient of our region’s population andeconomic above0.7, but showed a decline in2009, by2010this coefficient rose toalmost close to1. coordinated development trends index of our region’s populationand economic basically greater than1, this shows that the coordinated developmentof Xinjiang’s population and economy is in a healthy trends.Sum up, since the reform and opening up, the party and the country providesvarious preferential policies favorable to the development of Xinjiang for Xinjiang,as well as our region to actively cooperate with the various policy of our country,have achieved good results in the population development and economicdevelopment.
