Left-behind middle school students’ staying low moral quality is a prominentproblem in the current middle school education, which not only has great relationship withlacking of affection, but also with adverse effects in society and the neglect of moraleducation in school.The paper takes Left-behind Students in the mountain of westernGuangdong middle school as the research object analyzing and discussing the moralproblems of these children.The paper includes four parts, the main ideas and conclusions are as follows:The first part analyzes the research status about the moral of the current Left-behindStudents in the mountain of western Guangdong middle school. Studies on schoolleft-behind students moral are mainly in the reasons of Left-behind Students Problems inmiddle school, the ideological and moral qualities, solutions about the problems ofLeft-behind middle school students etc. Although these studies have made greatachievements, there are many problems, such as “the unclear of concept”,“the repeat ofproblem research”,“interdisciplinary boundaries” and “not paying enough attention to theproblem of the students’ subjective initiative” etc.The second part analyzes the moral status of Left-behind Students in the mountain ofwestern Guangdong middle school. The investigation understands moral development ofsituation of Left-behind students mainly through their performance in family, school andsocial activities. Through the investigation, the researcher found that some Left-behindstudents in middle schools have ideas of serious money worship, which results in a seriesof moral issues, including exalting only their own self in the family, not suffering lose, notknowing how to appreciate parents or elders, violation of discipline, not knowing howto unite classmates and respect teachers in the school, seeking nothing but profits and theweakness of good faith consciousness etc.The third part reveals reasons and potential harm of the moral problems ofLeft-behind students in the mountain of western Guangdong middle schools. The reasons for students’ moral problems of Left-behind middle school are not only exist in theobjective ones as society, school and family, but exist in the subjective ones of studentsthemselves. The potential harms of bad moral behavior of Left-behind students are asfollows: first, it will bring unexpected instable factors to the family, such as excitingfamily conflicts, and other terrible consequences; second, it will cause unnecessary troubleand losses to the school. The Left-behind Students occupy considerable proportion inmiddle schools students, so the bad morality of the former will cause great influence onthe other students, which will increase the difficult of school management; third, it willalso increase unstable factors in the society and thus lay hidden dangers for the country’slong period of stability.The fourth part discusses the feasible conditions to improve the moral quality ofLeft-behind students in the mountain of western Guangdong middle schools and thecountermeasures of school. As the subject of education, school should give Left-behindStudents right direction through making full use of all available conditions, giving fullplay to students’ initiative and overcoming the negative passive. And at the same timeschool should take reasonable and effective measures to improve the moral quality level ofleft-behind students in middle school really by combining students’ consciousness, theteachers’ guide enthusiasm and school management closely.
