From the women’s doubles gold medal in2004Olympic Games to Li Na’s championtrophy in2011Grand Slam single’s final, Chinese women’s tennis has experienced acomprehensive and rapid progress over the past decade, and has become the new hopeand leader of Asian Tennis. But at the same time, we have to admit that there are still lotsof hidden dangerous in our competitive ability of women’s tennis. In addition to Li Na,Zheng Jie, Peng Shuai, and several other top players, the Chinese women or men tennisplayers have no achievements in international competitions. In order to make furtherbreakthrough and gain more brilliant achievements, on the one hand, we need tocontinually improve the existing training system, on the other hand, we need to deepenthe understanding of the winning laws, break the existing training concepts, and usescientific theory to guide our players.Based on a comparative analysis of techniques and tactics in the front and middle courtskills, the method of handling the opportunity balls and key points of the Chinese elitewomen’s tennis doubles players with outstanding foreign female tennis players, thispaper aims to identifying the deficiencies of our players, breaking the bottle-neck,refining and improving the contest ability of our high level women’s doubles athletes bydoing a systematic research on creating, using and grasping set-ups and consciousness ofgreat tennis athletes at home and abroad. In this paper, the research objects are the techniques and tactics of the front and middlecourt of14world-renowned woman tennies players in32screenings during WTAtournaments. Therefore, we draw the following conclusions:By using the model of techniques and tactics of the front and middle court in women’sdoubles tennis, from the key evets project11/12for Olympic of the State Sports GeneralAdministration, we run a statistical and theoretical analysis on the former7pairs ofwomen’s doubles tennis players in4aspects: the basic characteristics of competitive state, the characteristics of the frequency of the front and middle hittings in basic competitionunit, the distribution characteristics of active and passive coming to front and middlecourt, the technical and tactical features of creating and grasping opportunities balls infront and middle court. Based on the comparative analysis on outstanding foreignwomen’s tennis players and Chinese elite players Zheng Jie, Peng Shuai, we reaches thefollowing conclusion:1.In basic competition unit,63.25%front and middle court shots occurs in and afterreceives, which means serves and receives are the starting and key points of front andmiddle court techniques.2.The outstanding foreign woman’s doubles players create front and middle courtballs by using smart serves. They create more opportunities in right area than those of theleft area, and select the hair right outer corners and left region angle later to a higher frequency in the front and middle court. For Chinese elite woman players, they need tostrengthen their left court serves.3.Zheng Jie/Peng Shuai repeated placement in stalemate in positive change lines tocreate opportunities for the ball over a single.4.During the stage of stalemate, Zheng Jie/Peng Shuai apparently lack ofaggression when facing with double hitting. It would be difficult to create opportunities.5.Chinese woman tennies doubles players enjoy a higher rates of non-critical pointsand front and middle total points, but they are weaker than the foreign players in graspingthe front and middle court key points.
