With the rapid development of modern world badminton, fast attackhas become the core content of the domestic mainstream skills, which putforward higher requirements for athletes. Athletes must have good speedquality to adapt to the requirements of modern fast play, which shows thatspeed is very crucial element in badminton. Flexibility in lower limbmovement is one of the most important factors for players to win acompetition. Therefore, it is a key part in this paper to study how toimprove the speed of badminton players. The moving speed depends on thespeed of the reaction rate and the size of the lower extremity musclestrength. Since strength is the basis of the speed, therefore, it is of greatsignificance to enhance the lower extremity strength training to increasemovement speed for the full play of sports technology levels and athleticperformances. The young badminton male players from Shanghai sports school whichshoulders the important task of selecting and sending talents to the frontline belong to second-tier players. Most of those players are between12and13years old. Through the observation of their daily lower extremitystrength training methods, this paper found that there existed phenomenathat more emphasis on skills and running jump exercises, while the relativelack of strength training, the weight of the load, the lack of specificscientific, single training methods and training methods lack of change. Thus it is needed for putting forward new training methods to supportbadminton lower extremity strength training.Improving the speed can not only include single speed exercises. It isalso needed to improve the muscle strength. This paper aims to study howto increase the weight of the load of the lower limb strength training inphysical training compared to the ipsilateral muscle strength by makingexperiment to verify its speed quality.Through literature, interviews, experimental method, logical analysis, mathematical statistics method,21athletes from Shanghai sports schoolmen’s badminton team were randomly divided into two experimental groupsand one control group to join16weeks training. After that, physicalindicators in the experimental group and a control group of subjects beforeand after training were analyzed. It is concluded that:⑴Badminton players’s specific speed quality includes sensitivityspeed, explosive speed, repeatability speed, displacement speed andspecific integrated speed, they are the comprehensive quality oflower-limber strength and speed. Speed training should emphasize bothpertinence and comprehensive.Ten training methods of weight-bearingsquat,squat, weight-bearing toes deep jump, jump level, leapfrog, elastic hook feet, rubber legs, sand pajamas footwork and double roll jump rope areselected as basic model of this experiment based on the characteristics ofspecial speed of badminton by means of optimization.⑵After training, the sensitivity speed, explosive speed, repeatabilityspeed, displacement speed and specific integrated speed of the three groupshave been improved in various degrees. The training effect of theexperimental groups compared to the control group was greater,it showsthat integrated training of modeling combinational strength and speed iseffective. At the same time,in the light of the imbalances of non-dominantlower-limber strength of the badminton players, this paper makes relevantadjustments and the the training effect is much better. This shows that theeffective way to improve specific speed quality is to polish up imbalancesof non-dominant lower-limber strength of the young badminton athletes.
