Since implementing Quality-oriented education reform, the requirements of the socialtalents with innovation spirit and practice ability are increasingly strong. Therefore, more andmore colleges and universities pay attention to the cultivation of the students’ all-rounddevelopment and personality now.Thus the study of curriculum reform has become one ofthe important research topics in which domestic scholars are interested. Hidden Curriculumfocuses on training students affective goals, which is the requirement of the quality education.So colleges and universities sports curriculum should not only teach students basic knowledgeand skills, but also cultivate the consciousness of the students that positively take part inphysical exercise. This study selected the three areas such as Estern part of Liao ning,Western part of Liaoning, Middle part of Liao ning of ten colleges and universities as theresearch object, Through the literature data method, questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics and other methods, with the elements of hidden curriculum in collegesand universities in Liaoning province in the badminton teaching using utility analysis, theconclusion is:Most of the colleges and universities in Liao ning province set less badminton semestercourses and study hours; Badminton class size is too large, the sports investment isinsufficient, lead to poor ground facilities; Part of school physical education system incolleges and universities still is not perfected; The relationship between teachers and studentsin colleges and universities are in general, the communication with students is relativelyseldom, but the students get along well with each other; Badminton atmosphere needs toimprove in the teaching activities, the evaluation too concentrate on the results of studentsto ignore the process; badminton culture atmosphere is not thick, even though they have setup badminton clubs, the clubs play very little role.Thus, this study proposed the countermeasures: first, they should adjust the class hourarrangement, increase students participate in badminton sports time, improve the badmintonclass number and the period of the term. Second, they should reduce the badminton class size,urge teachers to fully prepare class curriculum design, use all kinds of teaching ways. Third,they should increase investment in school sports funds, improve the badminton venuefacilities and configuration, high-quality badminton equipment facilities. Fourth, they shouldstrengthen the construction of teachers’ own personality accomplishment, improve theharmony of the relationship between teachers and students and build good badminton class atmosphere. Fifth, they should improve the evaluation in badminton course, enlarge thepropaganda of badminton activities, the colleges and universities badminton clubs shouldmake difference, organize badminton funny games, help the students not only amuse thebody and mind but also master the badminton techniques at the same time, allowing morestudents to love the badminton sports, therefore they could form lifelong sports consciousness.
