Large recess physical activity is a new form of sports organizations developed on thebasis of calisthenics. As an effective way to school about quality-oriented education, thelarge recess physical activity can play an important role. Research on reform of the bigrecess sports exists a lot currently, but most of them are strong macroscopic, lacking ofpertinence and can not propose specific operational measures. Therefore,, to find asuitable reform for students’ physical and mental development of large recess sports is veryimportant.This article adopts the interview method, questionnaire and observation to investigateand analysis the affiliated high school of Beijing institute of petroleum investigation on thelarge recess sports activity, its fundamental purpose is to promote the recess for the furtherdevelopment of sports activities, improve the quality of affiliated middle schoolextracurricular sports. Meanwhile, it also can make constructive suggestions and referencefor other middle school sports activities.The results show that:A: The basic status of High School Affiliated to Beijing Petroleum Institute recessreflects as following: sports equipments in the school meet the needs of physical activities;it has richly colorful sports, such as ball games, athletics, gymnastics and so on; using thecentralized organization and the combination of military type and spread-point type;having the management of cooperation of headmaster, head teacher and gym teacher; thepurpose for participation in sports activities of high school students and middle schoolstudents is different.Middle school students express themselves and enjoy but high schoolstudents prefer to adapt to society. However, the purpose of physical activities whichorganized by gym teachers is to have good health and physical emotionalhealth,participate, adapt to society.The reason why students participate in sports activitiespassive is that little equipments, irrational organization, the overlooked by the leader ofschool and no incentives.B: The large recess of the affiliated high school of Beijing institute of petroleum in theprocess of sports activities exists the main problems including: the bad utilization oflocation and equipment; the lacking of teachers resources; the unreasonable structure ofexpertise; the projects of Junior middle school and high school has no pertinence;largerecess physical activity projects between organizational forms and cycles per school year,no rotation;Part of the students do not have right cognition and attitude to large recessactivities; Schools pay less attention and lack of incentives; There is no perfect evaluatingsystem. C: The main countermeasures to improve the big recess of the affiliated high school ofBeijing petroleum institute sports existence questions are the followings: Reasonable usingof existing venues, equipments; According to the grade layered set different activities;Junior high and high school students based on different body developmental level andmotivation need use optional organization management mode, high school physicalorganization management model and sporting organization management model; Fivepeople management responsibility system, namely the leadership responsibility system, thePE teachers responsibility system; The head teacher responsibility system; the shiftteachers responsibility system; Responsibility system of the student union. School leadersand teachers should participate in the great sports during recess to improve students’motivation and participation emphasis on large recess physical activities. Strengtheningevaluation system and organizing more games make students have more self-expression.
