Self control is the core part of Metacognition Theory in the development of humanintelligence, is a sign of maturity, is an individual problem solving, self perfection, to ensurethat the development of. Research on it has become a hot spot of content for the study ofpsychology, education. Mathematics is the queen of the natural sciences, mathematics is theheart of the problem, self monitoring ability of students in problem solving is a valuable topic. The domestic and overseas research on mathematical problem solving andmetacognitionhas been fruitful, the subject of reading a lot of literatures at home and abroad, from therelated theory summary of definition of the concept of mathematical problem solving abilityof self monitoring, analysis of the impact ofself controlling ability of mathematical problemsolving, expounds the factors influencing the development of self monitoring ability of juniormiddle school students: stand on one’s own, learning motivation and learningobjectives, mathematical thinking and mathematics thinking quality. Investigate the status ofjunior school students self-monitoring ability in solving maths problems, found that somestudents in the five main components of self monitoring ability (plan, control, management, inspection, evaluation and so on) the ability is weak, thenanalyzes its causes. Through thestudy on the cultivation of students’ Self-monitoring Ability in solving mathematics problemsin strategy: clear learning objectives; active principle; the appropriate question, chain; in the4part of problem solving (understanding problems, proposed solutions, implementationofsolutions, review and reflection) runs through5factors of self monitoring (of theplan, management, inspection, adjustment, evaluation), let the students ability ofself monitoringsolution formation in solving problems; finally the students of assimilation and adaptationmanagement--the construction of the network of knowledge. But the knowledge networkdiagram and to help students lay a solidfoundation for solving a problem, thus forming avirtuous circle, so move in circlesform the students to solve the self controlling ability inproblem, so that students learn how to learn, to pave the way for students’ sustainabledevelopment.
