China entered the accelerated social transformation,The speeding up of urbanization makes many of the northwest minority rural women into the city. In the survey found that the flow of these minority women into the city, due to the low level of education,does not know the characters, the role of traditional cultural bound and so it is very difficult to integrate into the city.Literacy education, therefore, be they blend in and adapt to the pressing needs of the city life.In this paper, the researchers put the literature research, field research and action research three methods combined with a dual identity researchers and practitioners, relying on minority women literacy classes at Xihu Cultural Center of Lanzhou City, the social learning theory and empowerment theory as a guide to group-based work methods, aided by the cases discussed the working methods of social work in literacy education of migrant women in the minority. Group activities and implementation of the design for11times, summary and evaluation, discusses the social work intervention in the literacy education in ethnic minority migrant women feasibility and validity. Assessment of attention by researchers a voice, as a result, combined with questionnaire survey method and interview method to evaluate group effect, but also an objective assessment of past only pay attention to the supplement.By studying the following conclusions:First, the social work intervention minority migrant women literacy education has very important theory value and practical significance. On the one hand is the literacy education of the academic research on pedagogy and other supplement, on the other hand is to try new things and the field of social work intervention in literacy education.Second, the group work in ethnic minority migrant women literacy education achieved positive results.76.9%of the group members think participative group work activity is beneficial to the development of the literacy education, the92.3%group members think that promoted interpersonal skills to participate in group activities, the life confidence, expanded its social support network. Group work involved in literacy education more attention to the interaction between students and embodies the "Helping human to help oneself" concept, help group members self-efficacy. Third, the case work is group work in the education in ethnic minority migrant women beneficial supplement; Community as a social worker "Treasure bowl" integration of resources, effectively develop community work will help the literacy education for ethnic minority migrant women provide loose external environment and all kinds of powerful social support.Fourth, the "participatory" teaching method using participatory interaction and group work has played a positive role in the literacy education, the practice of the concept of "student-centered".80.8%of the group members think "participatory" teaching methods to promote literacy education is effective.Fifth, social work in the literacy education in ethnic minority migrant women still exist some deficiencies, needs further improvement and improve. Liquidity of the group members and the shortage of social workers own ability also limits the effect of group work; Produced in the west the group work of the soil also needs localization.
