Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) is "specific integration of personal teachingexperience, teacher’s content knowledge and pedagogy". As the most useful knowledge ofteachers, it is the main basis to distinguish ordinary teachers from teaching expert and theessential way to improve their understanding of their own profession and professionalquality.In this study, it selects the PCK of physics teachers in middle school as the mainresearch content. Through the research review of PCK and relevant theories, the paperanalyzes its theoretical basis and creates the questionnaire with interview outline to carryout the investigation and analysis of the current status of PCK sources of physics teachersin middle school. Finally, the paper propose the training strategies of middle schoolphysics teachers’ pedagogical knowledge.The paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is an introduction including the research background, content,significance, purpose and methods after studying domestic and foreign research of PCK.The second chapter is an overview of relevant theories. It introduces the relevanttheoretical knowledge, the meaning and basic characteristics of PCK theory and the mainconcepts in this study.The third chapter is the main part of this paper. Through questionnaires and interviews, it carries out an investigation of the current status of PCK sources of physics teachers inmiddle school, analyzes the result and obtains the findings.The fourth chapter proposes training strategies of PCK of physics teachers in middleschool based on the study and analysis in order to find a viable and efficient way to trainthe physics teachers in middle school.
