Analysis Of The Spread Of Marxism View On Women By Female Intellectuals During The May Fourth Period

Influenced by Western thought and Marxism, intellectuals began to break the chains of feudal ideology, embraced and propagated Marxism because of the strong environment of democracy and science. Female intellectuals are an important part of the intellectuals, which are the main part of the Main Marxist propaganda. However, the importance of female intellectuals are usually ignored. As a matter of fact, female intellectuals always chose the most appropriate women’s liberation theory from the aspect of themselves to spread their thoughts. They played an important role in the emancipation of women, the political movement and the patriotic movement. The Marxism view on women spread by female intellectuals during the May Fourth period played an important role at that time.Therefore, the study on the contribution of women during the May Fourth Movement in the area of the spread of Marxism is very important. It tries to understand the new characters of the spread of Marxism in the early period from the perspective of women. Thus it creates a new perspective in the study of the spread of Marxist theory, and expands the communication subject of Marxist theory in China.
