In this paper, based on the standard analysis of the PEP physical curriculum standards, high school science teaching equipment standards and PEP new curriculum materials. We fully understand the new curriculum for high school physics laboratory equipment with the requirements. We conducted a questionnaire survey on the use of part of high school physics experiment teaching instrument in the New District of Tianjin. Through the school’s existing understanding of the status of experimental apparatus equipped, we found that the practice of teaching physics experiment instruments exploitation exist some problems. The survey showed:(1)In the new four district high school physics experiment teaching, the average percentage of the demonstration experiments was opened78.54%. The opened level of the municipal key school, district-level key school and general school in the demonstration experiment is almost identical. The main reasons that some demonstration experiments were not opened were:poorly equipped laboratory instruments, experimental implementation difficult, lack of experimental time.(2) In the new four district high school physics experiment teaching, the average percentage of the grouping inquiry experiment was opened79.06%. The opened level of the municipal key school, district-level key school and general school in the grouping inquiry experiment is significantly different. The opened level of the municipal key school is higher than the district-level key school and general school, the main reasons that the partial grouping inquiry experiment was not opened were: poorly equipped laboratory instruments, lack of experimental time, experimental implementation difficult.(3)The level of most schools with existing experimental apparatus have reached the level of "Tianjin schools teaching instrument equipped with a standard"(Tianjin BoE base [2007] No.7). The municipal key school level is not to reach the Ministry of Education (base teach two [2010] No.1) document released "high school science teaching equipment standards." At present, the Tianjin Municipal Government is carrying out high school modernization compliance activities. Thus, the experimental equipment will be further improved.(4) Because teaching stress, funds of funds and other factors, teachers’enthusiasm for the development of experimental apparatus is not very high. And teachers in the experimental teaching process rarely develop their own experimental equipment.(5) Before2010, Tianjin has been performed under the Ministry of Education with a standard laboratory equipment. In2010, Tianjin to develop their own standards, but for laboratory, laboratory preparation room, laboratory assistant allocation ratio did not make clear.
