More and more people are concerned about the positive psychological benefits obtained by exercise. In recent years, the effect of physical exercise on cognitive function research has become a research hotspot, youth as the future hope of the nation, many researchers begin to pay close attention to the function and significance of the physical training of adolescent physical and mental health. Although the study of the relationship between physical exercise and cognitive function had great progress, because of the different testing indexes of single and research methods, the conclusion is not consistent, the better to study relationship between physical exercise and adolescent cognitive function, this study chose attention, memory, executive function, three indicators using longitudinal follow-up study and research to explore physical exercise influence on cognitive function in adolescents. In the study of attention, memory, executive function, these3indexes are used to illustrate the impact of physical exercise on cognitive function. Research are selected two school from the primary and middle school students in Jiangsu Province health promotion test point research center. Two classes are selected respectively from the first grade and high-grade, and they are divided into experimental and control groups; The implementation of a semester of physical education curriculum an teaching(18weeks)intervention. Students in the experimental group use the intervention programs in new sports education mode; meanwhile the students in the control group participate in regular physical education but no extracurricular exercise. Using the experimental method, the control group and the experimental group students’ cognitive function were analyzed before and after the experiment to investigate the students’memory, attention and executive function changes; Memory test has selected the long-term memory as a test index; Note quality is measured by the level of attention test software version1, the steady attention, attention span, attention shift, attention assigned four basic quality evaluation and detection; executive function using the Stroop color word test (CWT).The result concludes:1.A new sports model can effectively improve the education of students in long-term memory capacity, memory capacities of junior and high school groups in the both experimental and control groups are all increased, and the increase in the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group in average number of memory; Long-term memory is main effect of age, and the factors of gender has no influence on the long-term memory, gender and age interaction was not significant.2.The new sports education model can effectively improve and enhance the students’ attention, such as the junior students in the experimental groups, their attention to allocate, attention to stability, attention span capabilities are significantly improved; on the other side, the high school classes in the intervention group, after the experiment, four basic quality of attention are not improved apparently. Pay attention to the stability of the gender main effect, pay attention to the transfer of existing main effect of age and gender and age factors on the distribution and pay attention to the breadth of attention are not exist significant difference; And the distribution of attention, attention stability and attention transfer, pay attention to the breadth of the interaction of the two factors are not significant.3.The new sports education model can improve and enhance students’ information processing speed and the ability to inhibit the conversion. Experimental group students’text reading ability, color reading ability and the ability to inhibit meaning stimuli are improved, and gender and age factors have no significant impact on inhibiting the conversion ability of executive function. The interaction of two factors, the gender and age, was not significant.
