Electrocardiogram is an important basis for the analysis and diagnosis of heart disease inclinical. With the increasing incidence of the heart and its related disease in recent years,people devote more attention on ECG research, these studies are mainly concentrated in noisecancellation and waveform parameter extraction, but these data cannot be shared in differenthealth care systems, resulting in a waste of the ECG equipment resources and increasedmedical costs, therefore the solution that can improve medical information and promote thefree flow of information among medical systems is strongly needed, and HL7(Health LevelSeven) standard is the key to meeting these challenges. This paper mainly studies the ECGnoise cancellation and waveform detection, then implement a ECG data sharing system basedon HL7v3(HL7Version3) standard.The main contents of this paper are:1) The ECG noise cancellation and waveform detection were well studied. This papermade detail research and simulate for baseline drift, frequency interference and QRS complex.Waveform data and parameters were extracted from original signals. These data providessupport for our system.2) The majority of the ECG data sharing systems are based on custom rules making bymedical institutions, instead of international standard. In this paper, the implementation ofECG data sharing system is based on HL7V3standard. This system will still applicable inmedical information integration in the future. This system mainly consists of ECGnon-standard data file read and write module and HL7V3standard messages codec module.ECG non-standard data file reader module extracted ECG waveform data and waveformparameters from the non-standard format, act as an adapter from non-standard data storage tothe standard data storage. This paper use MIT-BIH database as example of non-standardformat; HL7V3standard messages codec that implement a two-way conversion betweennon-standard data and standard data is the core part of the system. Then the ECG data can be shared between different medical institutions.
