Study On The Evolution Of Land Use Landscape Pattern In Xi'an Metropolitan Area

Land provides the material basis for human life and production and plays a very important role in the sustainable development of human society and economy. In recent years,With the continuous improvement of the level of economic development,transformation of human activities on land resources is more and more intense, so that land use and landscape pattern has undergone tremendous changes,the contradiction between people and land have become increasingly prominent. Therefore, the study of the evolution of landscape pattern and land use has become a hot topic and focus of the world.Research on land use and landscape pattern can understand the driving factors of impacting its change and reveal trends of temporal change in land use.And land use and landscape pattern was simulated and predicted by CA-Markov.Its purpose is to provide a scientific basis for land intensive use and the social,economic and environmental development.At the same time,it has. important guiding significance for understanding trends of the change of landscape pattern and land use,land use planning,regional planning and environmental protection.In this paper,Xi’an metropolitan area is taken as the study area.Using RS and GIS techniques conduct interpretation of2000,2005and2010remote sensing image of Xi’an metropolitan area to obtain land use data, to analyze the dynamic changes of land use types and conversion relationship,to study land use landscape pattern changes of different spatial scales, to reveal the driving force of the evolution of the landscape pattern of Xi’an metropolitan area and carry on partition on the strength of the driving force.And on this basis,using CA-Markov model simulates the land use and landscape pattern of Xi’an metropolitan in2015.The main conclusion as following:(1)Land use types have mainly residential areas,farmland and woodland of Xi’an metropolitan in2000-2010.Residential areas and grassland presents an increasing trend, water body, farmland and woodland shows a decreasing trend, and the garden is first increased and then decreased.(2)The conversion is more frequent between land use types of Xi’an metropolitan in2000-2010,and most of them belong to the two-way conversion.Judging from the whole,residential areas mainly roll out and move into farmland,grassland and woodland,rolling out is less than moving into;farmland mainly turns to grassland and woodland and moves into water body and grassland,rolling out is more than moving into;the garden mainly turns to residential areas,farmland and woodland and moves into farmland and woodland and water body,rolling out is less than moving into;woodland mainly turns to residential areas,grassland and water body and moves into the garden,rolling out is less than moving into;grassland mainly turns to woodland and moves into the garden,rolling out is more than moving into;water body mainly turns to farmland and moves into the garden,rolling out is more than moving into.(3)On the whole,landscape pattern of Xi’an metropolitan in2000-2010had the fragmentation trend and then transited to the agglomeration trend.Landscape dominance is first decreased and then increased,and is the biggest in2000.Landscape diversity had the sustained increasing trend.(4)Driving factors of impacting land use and landscape pattern of Xi’an metropolitan mainly show population,economic and social factors.It had a significant correlation with non-agriculture population,GDP and total of posts and telecommunications business.The district is divided on the driving force and is divided into four levels by its social and economic driving force.The first level area is mainly Yanta District;The second level area is mainly Weiyang District and Lianhu District;The third level area is mainly Beilin District,Xincheng District,Chang’an District, Qindu District,Weicheng District,Lintong District,Baqiao District,Gaoling County,Hu County, Xingping City, Lantian County. Jingyang County,Qian county,Zhouzhi County and Yanliang District;the fourth level area is mainly Sanyuan County,Liquan County, Wugong County and Yangling High-tech Industries Demonstration Zone.(5)Using CA-Markov model and land use and landscape pattern of Xi’an metropolitan in2000and2005predicts land use and landscape pattern of Xi’an metropolitan in2010,and it compares with actual data in2010.It proves space simulation accuracy of various landscape types closes to90%by CA-Markov model and it has high reliability. Thus,using CA-Markov model simulates landscape pattern of Xi’an metropolitan in2015.The results show changes of various landscape types of Xi’an metropolitan from2010to2015is very obvious.Farmland area will continue to decrease,residential areas will grow faster,change of woodland and garden area will be more gentle and they will have the same trend during the period, water body and grassland will be less reduce.
