Dendrimers and fullerenes are very excellent materials, but they also have their own weakness. The combination of them makes their application wide. Currently,it is one of the popular research topics of soft confdensed matter physics in researching the interaction of nanparticles and membrane. This dissertation employed the coarse grained molecular dynamics to study the interaction between the C60-grafting PAMAM dendrimer and lipid membrane in aqueous solution. It was found that the size of dendrimer molecule in aqueous solution decreases monotonously with grafting C60 s at terminal. However, it is not monotonous when interacting with membrane. Additionally, the biological membrane permeability was improved after interacting with the surface-modified dendrimer.Furthermore, we also found the dendrimer embedded in the outer layer of the membrane, meanwhile C60 inserts into the middle of two layers of the membrane due to its hydrophobicity.
