Currently, the oil and gas field exploration and development has become increasingly complicated. The carbonate reservoir has become one of the most important problems of oil and gas exploration and development. The Ordovician of Hetian He gas field belongs to low porosity and low permeability carbonate gas reservoir. There are both pore and fracture reservoir space, which lead to extremely reservoir heterogeneity and the regularity of the logging response in the reservoir is not obvious, it brings great difficulties to the reservoir evaluation of log analysis and recognition. So we need to do further research to establish a set of suitable logging evaluation method for the low porosity and low permeability carbonate gas reservoir, in order to provide better service to the exploration and development of gas field.Based on the geologic rule, combined with core thin sections identification, physical property analysis and test data studied the basic geological characteristics of the reservoir. Using the imaging logging data scaled by the core data and the conventional logging scaled by imaging logging, analyzed the imaging and conventional logging response characteristics of fracture try to use dual lateral log, gamma ray spectrometry log and index method to identify fracture. Because of the dual pore medium reservoir characteristics, using core samples’ physical property data established different regions’and different lithology’s matrix porosity and permeability model. On the basis of fracture identification, use the dual laterolog estimate fracture porosity, fracture permeability model is established by the core samples’ fracture permeability which have fractures and fracture porosity regression. From reservoir lithology, physical property, shale content and regional tectonic stress this four aspects, this paper discussed the relationship between various factors and the degree of fracture development, then draw the distribution map of each small layer fracture. After the effective reservoir been divided then combined with the test data, using a variety of methods to establish identification standard of formation fluid properties.The completion of this thesis not only provides a feasible method of Reservoir fracture evaluation, reservoir parameter calculation, fluid properties identification for Hotan river gas field Ordovician reservoir, but also provides a reliable logging interpretation basis for gas field exploration and development.
