This article is in the guidance of carbonate sedimentology, palaeontology, reservoir geology, and other theory methods, bsade on tapering core inspection and thin section analysis and identify, by adapting macroscopic and microcosmic memoir, and taking logging, seismic and modern advanced testing method, we have described and appraised the carbonate rock of Lianglitage formation of Upper Ordovician of the region of interest.Including the lithology and lithofacies feature, reservoir feature, reservoir controlling factor, reservoir appraisal, forecast of beneficial reservoir area and other respect. Ir has produced μmpty research outcome.By uniting the research outcome of predecessors, we refine the description of Lianglitage formation and makes depth-systematic study on the sedimentary facies of Lianglitage of Upper Ordovician. Then draw a conclusion that Lianglitage formation is main to that of open platform facies, it’s priority to polyphase cycle of inner beach and interbank sea, and in the local, it’s the cycle of inner beach and lime mud mound or inner reef and lime mud mound.The main reservoir rock types of the reseach area are calcarenite and biogenicdebris, and locally is reef limestone. The distribution range of t he matrix porosity and permeability are respectively 1%~4.5% and 0.01 md~1md. It belongs to that of low porosity and low permeability.The reservoir type is priority to fracture-pore and cavity, fractured reservoir is agensis.The reservoir type of the reseach area can be divided as Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ,in further, it’s priority to Ⅱ, Ⅲ.The reservoir is characterized by obvious stratigraphic, and mainly developes in the first and second passage of Lianglitage formation. In the horizontal, the reservoir distributes as penecontemporaneous laminate, in the local, it has intensive aeolotropism and penetrates.In the viewpoint of dynamic evolution, we have analysed the controlling factor of reservoir, draw a conclusion that the lithology and lithofacies is the basis and karstification is the root caus of the beneficial reservoir, syngenesis atmos fresh water denudation is the main factor of the pore reservoir, tectogenesis is the compulsory and prominent factor to the reservoir distribution and karstification.On the basis of seismic reservoir forecast,unite the distribution feature of a series of well reservoir and reservoir controlling factor of the well area, we have forecast the reservoir features of the research area. Results showed that Ta zhong 10 tectogene is the most favourable reservoir developing area, and Ta zhong 16 tectogene is the sub favourable reservoir developing area. These fruits can designate the oil exploration direction.
