ZaHaQuan area is located in the southwest area of Qaidam basin, close to the source sag of QieKeLiKe and ZaHaQuan. Its surrounding has been found by leaps the no.2 oil field, yue west oil field, lithologic reservoir of leap No.4 and Wunan oilfield. Predecessors’ research and exploration results show that the work area within ganchaigou formation period of development on the braided delta front-beach bar, sand body a lot, is very beneficial to the growth of reservoir.Through in recent years several rounds of proven, ZaHaQuan area reservoir mainly occurred in the Nl part. Analysis of test results on the period of K7 N1 layers, the hydrocarbon source rock geochemical index difference obvious,K7 on organic carbon content was significantly higher under section, the distribution range,0.53.0% with The characteristics of high organic matter abundance and hydrocarbon conversion, better parent material types (Ⅱ Ⅲ type) and the hydrocarbon generation potential, medium maturity. Hydrocarbon source rocks Ro was 0.6% on average, more than 0.65% below the K7, at the peak of hydrocarbon generation stage. Reservoir is concentrated in the interval.Seismic horizon interpretation feedback and seismic attribute analysis show that ZaHaQuan area under the N1 period of high quality hydrocarbon source rock are widely cover distribution; Sand body also has good continuity and the characteristics of the transverse distribution range. But the influence by the sedimentary environment, has poor reservoir physical property and heterogeneity is stronger, it’s difficult to smooth progress of exploration. To further clarify the main purpose of this layer N1 within ganchaigou formation (upper) sedimentary characteristics, find the favorable sand body distribution and enrichment regularity of oil and gas. Purpose for this study layer by using drilling, paleontology, seismic, logging, testing data of ZaHaQuan reservoir anatomy, analyzing the reservoir geological characteristics (reservoir characteristics, sedimentary reservoir characteristics and reservoir types). Finally the comprehensive evaluation provide the basis for the next step exploration.
