The giant Huize zinc-lead ore deposits is one of the representative zinc-lead ore deposits in the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou Pb — Zn Ore-forming Zone. It is located in the southwest edge of the Yangzi plateform,the structural composite parts which is formed by the north-east fault zone, the south-north fault zone and Ziyun-Yadu fault zone is limited by Xiaojiang deep fault zone and Zhaotong-Qujing buried deep fault zone. It consists of Kuangshanchang Ore, Qinlingchang Ore and Yinchangpo Ore and they are controlled by Kuangshanchang fualt,Qinlinchang fault and Yinchangpo fault.The writer based on the detailed studies of the regional geology of ore-forming background, the geological characteristics of mining deposits, the resolved of Kuangshanchang fault, Qinkinchang fault(mainly studied the geometry, kinematics, material science) and the characteristics of ore-controlling structural. The writer preliminary summaries the geometric features and development of the fault-fold which is formed by Kuangshanchang fault and Qinliangchang fault, and discuss its role in the mineralization process. Through the research outdoor and comprehensive analysis of geological Interior, it shows that:(1) Huize Pb-Zn deposit is significantly controlled by fault-fold structure: Kuangshanchang fault ande Qilinchang fault are the first grade fault and lead-ore structure. NE trending shear-compressive fractures laminated in layer are the main ore-host structures, which control the occurrence and shape of the ore body.(2) Analysis of fluid inclusions and results of MT show that:Kuangshanchang fault and Qilinchang fault are thought of extending to -500 meter or more deeper. Their dip are large on the shallow part, but slow and complex in deep. They are the road of ore-forming fluid.(3) Through parsing kinematics of Kuangshanchang fault and Qilinchang fault, wei believe that its development process can be divided into three stages:stage of Kuangshanchang fault forming, stage of Kuangshangchang fault development and Qlinchang fault forming; stage of fault-fold development.(4) Combined with previous findings, we summarized ore-controlling rules of the Kuangshanchang-Qilinchang fault-fold:corresponded with the formation of fault-fold structure, in this process, the deep ore fluid from the base migrating upward along the north-east faults drived by the action of structure. At the same time, metaasomatism making large-scale development solomite. When the fluid migrate to the north-east pressure-shear fault interlaminar, enrichment,precipitate and mineralization.
