PET is a polymer, which is widely used in our life. There are lots of productionplants in the world, but most of them belong to high energy consumption unit, thequality is not well, economic benefit is bad, and run into trouble etc…Now the main production technology of PET are three types, three reactorsdesigned by DuPont Company; four or five reactors designed by CTIEI; fivereactors designed by Zimmer German. But consider the comprehensive energyconsumption and unit energy consumption, three reactors designed by DuPontCompany has obvious advantage, especially in heat energy and electric energy,as economic developing, our country require more and more low energyconsumption, and more and more care about the environment. According to thepolicy of12th five-year plan of country, Industrial enterprises Are the main ofenergy conservation and emission reduction, and clearly demand change the wayof development, optimize the process, improve technology, buildingresource-conserving industry system and society. So, for PET production plant, itmust optimize the process, energy conservation, improve Enterprise competitivepower.The article brief introduce the process of PET chip, the energy consumption,column, Lithium bromide refrigerator, organic stripping column(OSC). Analyzethe distribution of energy, working for improving the pressure of esterificationreaction, Recycle the esterification vapor, Optimize the operating conditions ofcolumn, change the resource of the steam power of OSC, then we save the energyand reduce our cost, improve Enterprise competitive power.Through practice, we think that optimize our production plant, reduceesterification vapor, improve the use ratio of secondhand energy, can obviousreducing the energy and cost.
