In recent years, early childhood education has received extensive attention fromall circles in the society. Both parents and the society have realized the important roleearly education plays in children’s characters, abilities and cognition. Therefore,Various services began to enter parents’ range of selection and the market of relevantproducts also yielded prosperity and development. Talking pen is currently the mostpopular and mainstream early education product. By means of science and technology,the mode in which children absorb knowledge becomes more vivid and interesting,which is a technological leap in early education products. Nowadays, the talking penbears a huge market, but the seemingly diversified brands and wide varieties of goodactually have many problems.The talking pen of early education products is taken as the target of the research.Firstly, this paper conducts a basic research of the attributes of the talking pen andmasters its basic functions and connotations. In the meanwhile, relevant user researchis conducted on preschool children to master the cognition and physiological abilitiesof the age group, conclude the features of the users and analyze users’ appeals.Secondly, the nature of early education is analyzed and the content and structure ofearly education are concluded and classified on the basis of the philosophy of earlyeducation and intellectual development. Under the background of industrial design,the design philosophy, method and principle are explored. Thirdly, the existingproducts are used in an experimental test of relevant users’ application. By organizingand concluding the result of the test, this paper analyzes users’ experience and thecharacteristics of the existing products, summarizes the keys in the design of thetalking pen, and determines the potential development direction of products at thepresent stage. Finally, based on the design philosophy summarized above and theconcluded entry points in design, this paper conducts a design practice, improves anddetermines the plan through users’ experimental test and reaches relevantconclusions.by changing the shape of the traditional talking pen to preschool children,based on physical and psychological characteristics, we creat the appearanceof new styles for children, they are induced to adopt a new way of gripping, children’sphysical capabilities can also be developed. |
