Tahe oil field has become the main oil field of the Sinopec northwest branch, with an annual output of725×1041crude oil. The heavy oil with high amount of colloid and asphalt, accounts for more than65%production of all the Oilfields, and it is also with high viscosity, high wax content and easy solidification. With the intensive development of Tahe oil field, the well deployments were found to be different from what had been planned. Some stations are with uneven load, liquid holdup, sand factor and physical property of crude oil are different from the design parameters, and the process parameters of heating furnace and pump deviate from the design parameters, leading the gathering system in low operation efficiency.Some researches have been completed on the10th and12th region of Tahe oilfield and those can be described from five aspects as follows:(1) The operation situation of the10th and12th region of Tahe oilfield is investigated, and the process of station, operation situation of devices, the process parameters of heating furnaces and pumps are mastered;(2) According to the research on technological characteristic of Tahe oilfield gathering and transferring system, the whole system is devided into a set of sub systems which include combination station, booster station and gathering network, then the energy balance analysis model are established, and the methods of efficiency calculation are also presented;(3) The tests of device efficiency have been carried out, including that of37heating furnaces,72pumps,10stations, and3pipelines;(4) According to the process characteristics of multiphase flow in pipeline and the adoption of hydromechanics and thermodynamics, methods of hydraulic, thermodynamic calculation and node parameters of the system are concluded;(5) With the minimization of operation cost as the objective function, and head temperature, pump outlet pressure, blending ratio and flow rate as the constraining conditions, a mathematical model of heavy oil operation parameters optimization is established. And it is advised to solve the problem using LINGO.The optimization model is applied in the4th combination station of heavy oil gathering system optimization of Tahe oilfield. Contrasted with data before optimization, the system saves1133.7yuan in electricity every day,26264.5yuan in gas every day,418772.8yuan in thin oil every day, and in total the saving energy percentage is1.837%.
