Food safety issues have always been a major concerning for the government. But the traditional food safety information management system has various limitations. Most of the old systems focus on the business transaction data. The environment data of food production processes is lack of gathering and management. On the other hand, these systems often adopt centralized system architecture and could not perform data communication and exchanging. In recent years, the internet of things (IoT) technology provides a revolutionary solution to the food quality and safety monitoring. Meanwhile, the big data management and information service mechanism of IoT have been a research hotspot.In order to resolve as many existing problems as above, a data processing framework which can be used to perform sensor data collecting, monitoring, real-time querying and storage are firstly introduced in detail. A sensor data representation model is designed for standardizing heterogeneous sensor data. A sensor data stream middleware is provided to support real-time monitoring, key sample data extraction and data statistics of enormous sensor data stream. An efficient sensor key sample data storage solution based on distributed database cluster is designed and analyzed.Based on the characteristics of the food safety information management, an IoT business event model of food safety is provided to help with the business data management and ensure the traceability of food products. According to the requirements of IoT information service, an efficient IoT information service registration, publishing, discovery and provision mechanism are designed and discussed in detail. An information discovery index publishing, storage and query strategy based on distributed database is designed. An information discovery algorithm based on recursive query which has a high accuracy and efficiency is proposed. Based on Web Service standard, a web service dynamic invocation method based on parsing WSDL file is analyzed.
