Oil and gas gathering pipeline SCADA system is a automation and control system based on computer technology and intelligent control technology. It plays an irreplaceable role in the aspects of gas scheduling automation and modernization and improving efficiency and level in gas schedule.Oil&Gas SCADA systems are expensive and its structure is complex. It also directly related to the oil and gas gathering and related industries in the production and the people’s livelihood and it is the lifeblood of the country’s critical infrastructure, So it is impossible for teaching or research experiment. The traditional simulation platform has the following deficiencies that can not be used for the research group. It is a single layer structure which has no simulated scheduling layer. It can not be simulated the real communication. The simulation approach is not conducive to expand and can not be achieved large-scale simulation. There is no simulation platform for the oil and gas fields of SCADA systems. The subject comes from the National Natural Science Foundation project" A study of SCADA security defense system modeling theory and simulation for large-scale oil and gas gathering pipeline network based on FNN " and the Technology Innovation Seedling Projects of Sichuan Provincial Science " Gas gathering pipeline SCADA network security defense system simulation platform based on factor neural network."The SCADA system construction and transformation of The Southwest Oil and Gas Field Branch is used as the investigation background and the composition and design of the system is discussed. This paper is abstracted the three-tier structure system model from SCADA system of Southwest Company, namely scheduling layer, control layer and device layer station.Meanwhile it is builded an experimental platform for the security and defense of oil and gas SCADA system through the use of virtual instruments. The system is implemented the functions of the standardized virtual PLC programming of basic control unit、monitoring systems、historical redundant database establishment、data collection、configuration interface development and the dispatch center data presentation, then the systems are deployed on the server and PC Lab.Finally, Contradistinction with the before and after data on the SCADA system security defense experiments showed that the design of SCADA system in this paper can be used for experiment of security and defense simulation platform.
