| With the development of people’s living standard, the Composite Bottom Pan (CBP)as a high-grade pans gradually become the main appliance in the kitchen nowadays.However, the bottom distortion of the common CBP after heating is large enough to affectthe cooking quality. Therefore, it is very important to reduce the bottom distortion bystudying the factors of bottom distortion after heating to optimize the CBP structure andimproving the forming method of aluminum alloy pan body. This article makes a profoundresearch about the factors of bottom distortion after heating and forming processing foraluminum alloy pan body with the theoretical analysis and finite element simulationmethod.Firstly, the influence factors of bottom distortion after heating were deeply studied byANSYS. And the impact rules of related factors were obtained. According to the impactlaws, the CBP structure was optimized and the smaller thermal distortion CBP wasdesigned.Secondly, three forming process schemes, backward extrusion upsetting processing,backward extrusion bulging upsetting processing and variable thickness backwardextrusion bulging upsetting processing were designed based on theories of backwardextrusion and tube upsetting. And the change rule of wall thickness for variable thicknessbackward extrusion parts was analyzed by geometric method.Finally, DEFORM-2D was used to simulate the forming process of the three formingprocess schemes. The forming processing, effective strain field, forming load and damagedistribution of three forming process schemes were mainly investigated. The simulationresults showed that the load of backward extrusion upsetting processing was so high thatthe equipment was difficult to meet. And the possibility of crack for bulging process wastoo large during backward extrusion bulging upsetting processing. However, in variablethickness backward extrusion bulging upsetting processing, the crack possibility wassmaller and the load was lower than backward extrusion upsetting processing. Thus,variable thickness backward extrusion bulging upsetting processing was used to form thealuminum alloy pan body as the final forming process schemes. The variable thickness backward extrusion mould and bulging upsetting mould were designed based on thesimulation results. |
