In recent years, with the development of industry and improving of people’s livingstandard, the amount of waste water increase year by year.The types of pollutants willalso increase. Those lead to a gradually increasing difficulty in wastewater treatment.The cost of water treatment infrastructure technology is high. The process is complex, aswell as the equipment. It’s difficult for the technology promotion. The cost of naturalzeolite is very low because of its rich production. The adsorbability is good and the ionexchange capacity is large. It has an extensive effect on removing various pollutantsfrom water. Therefore, natural zeolite is widely used in the field of water treatment, suchas ammonia nitrogen, phosphorus wastewater, heavy metal wastewater, organicwastewater, fluoride wastewater and radioactive waste water.This thesis studies on the removal of pollutants composed of CTAB and PNP byzeolite on the base of studying single CTAB and PNP. It discusses on removing singleCTAB, single PNP and pollutants composed by CTAB and PNP effected by the processingmethod of zeolite, dosage, mixing time, PH of raw water, Initial concentration of CTABand PNP, modification of zeolite. The study shows that1). When single CTAB is polluted, it is under the optimum condition. If the concentrationof CTAB solution is75mg/L, pH=6, mixing time is90min, Microwave high fire1min,zeolite1.1g, the rate of CTAB removal will be94.18%.2)When single PNP is polluted, it is under the optimum condition. If the concentration ofPNP is20mg/L, pH=6,oscillation time is1h, CTAB modified zeolite2g, the rate of PNPremoval will be75.31%.3)When CTAB and PNP are polluted, they’re under the optimum condition. If theconcentration of CTAB solution is300mg/L, the concentration of PNP is20mg/L, mixingtime is90min, Microwave high fire1min, zeolite1.1g, the rate of CTAB removal will be83.9%. The analysis of the adsorption isotherms of CTAB and PNP shows that theadsorption of CTAB on zeolites belongs to single molecule layer adsorption, where as theadsorption of PNP on zeolites belongs to multi-molecular layer adsorption.The infrared analysis of zeolite shows that the adsorption zone changes around1000cm-1and3400cm-1.This result illustrates that Si-O-Si bond and O-H bond have effect on the adsorption of CTAB and PNP.
