In recent years, because the health care reform process and the promotion of theprogressive aging society, our country needs to expand clinical medical dressings; extensive use ofantibiotics and chemicals, making the use of antibiotics had the bottleneck, as the representative ofsilver antimicrobial material The resulting broader development and has achieved good results inthe clinical medical; plus non-woven materials in line with the specific structural features requiredfor the performance of medical dressings, this topic will be contained silver particles and polyesterfibers as major research priorities raw materials, design and research hollow polyester fibermedical dressings containing silver.This article containing silver particles used in the polyester fiber is attached to themicron-sized silver particles on the inner surface of the hollow polyester fibers to release silverions in hot and humid conditions which have antibacterial properties. Polyester fiber because of itsgood chemical stability, with some security when in contact with the human body as a carrier fiberwound. Micron-sized silver particles are attached to the inner surface of the fibers, so that in theprocess, after processing, the silver particles to keep the nascent activity under the protection ofthe support fibers, when in contact with water or other liquid heat release caused by environment,the gradual release of silver ions, sustained release of silver ions and thus play a role.Because of silver fiber in hot and humid conditions will release silver ions, the subjectselection process non-woven medical dressing acupuncture preparation. In order to reduce costsand further improve the performance of various aspects of dressing, subject to the load of thesilver fiber, medical viscose fiber and chitosan fiber as raw material reinforced non-wovenmedical dressing acupuncture preparation techniques. Added fiber sample different, it willaffect the load of silver ion releasing silver fiber performance.4, biocompatible samples are qualified, and chitosan fibers than the middle load silverfiber has better biocompatibility. Sample is a non-eluting antibacterial material, its antibacterialproperties can not be detected by agar. In the absorption of antibacterial experiments test samplecan be seen, with the increase in load silver fiber content, the better the relative antibacterial effectof the sample.
