Fatty acid is a kind of rich source, low price of chemical raw materials, long chain fatty acid preparation of long chain acyl benzene used as intermediates three, EOR surfactants of alkylbenzene sulfonates, is of great significance to research on the development of new mechanism of oil and surfactant flooding. This paper respectively by long chain fatty acids fourteen acid, sixteen acid as starting material, using thionyl chloride preparation of long chain fatty acyl chloride, to study the factors affecting the preparation of chloride, determine the synthesis process: using benzene as solvent by dropping the way to join two thionyl chloride, preparation of fourteen and sixteen respectively in the 40 ℃and a temperature of 60 ℃, reaction time 5h, the yield of high purity, good chloride intermediates, and the chloride product characterization of infrared spectra, IR spectral features of-C-Cl bonds in the map of apparent absorption peak. This paper adopts the Friedel crafts acylation reaction method, using acyl chloride as acylating reagent, anhydrous aluminium chloride as catalyst, reaction synthesis of long chain acyl benzene and benzene reagent, the effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, reactant ratio on the synthetic effects of raw materials, the optimum reaction conditions are determined by the synthesis process optimization, fourteen acyl reaction of benzene: temperature 60 ℃, reaction time 8h, chloride: AlCl3: benzene molar ratio of 1:1.3:8.4, the yield is up to 85.7%; sixteen acyl benzene: reaction temperature 80 ℃, reaction time 8h, the reactant chloride: AlCl3: benzene molar ratio was 1:1.3:8.4, the yield is up to 89.85%. The experimental results show that, under the optimized reaction conditions, the synthesis of long chain acyl reaction of good repeatability, high yield. For melting point test on the synthesis of acyl benzene products: Fourteen acyl phenyl melting range: 52.1~52.8 ℃; sixteen acyl phenyl melting range: 59 to 61 ℃, the melting range is narrow, indicating the determination results of higher product purity infrared spectrum indicated that the synthetic graph are present characteristics of aromatic ketone structure typical absorption peak of infrared spectra products, illustrates the formation of acyl benzene structure products, the synthetic product was the target product.
