Study On The Characteristics Of Permafrost Deposition Along The Sino - Russian Oil Pipeline

With the length of about 510 km, China-Russia oil pipeline passes through our Daxinganling, the frozen earth area for many years. Along this pipeline, the permafrost is different in thawing settlement under the influences in terms of climatic condition,physical geography, human activities and other factors. Thus the various settlements will cause threat to the safe operation of the pipeline. Through analyzing the comprehensive evaluation towards the soil after on-site exploration, this paper summarized and concluded the major thawing settlement features to the permafrost, providing data support for operating and maintaining pipeline in future.
