Sludge is taken to deal with ultrasonic and electrostatic field.The ultrasound and electrostatic field properties of the sludge and sludge settlement activity is characterized by the height of the sludge sedimentation, sludge setting velocity sedimentation rate, oxygen consumption rate and increase the percentage of indicators. To shorten the sludge settling time, ultrasonic complex electrostatic field is used to promote sludge settling and improving exploration activity, thus improving the efficiency of the secondary settling tank sedimentation and reduce the secondary settling tank sedimentation area. This can greatly improve the efficiency of wastewater treatment, reduce the actual investment project and have the practical application of great value. The results of this study are follows:1) The sludge settling can be effectively promoted by ultrasonic and electrostatic field by sedimentation height and settling velocity of change. And the experiment shows that the settlement is affected by ultrasonic power, ultrasonic time, electrodes into the water depth and sludge concentration, the orthogonal experiment shows: ultrasonic power and the electrode into the water depth have the greatest impact on promoting sludge settling, followed by ultrasonic time, and finally the sludge concentration.Experiment shows that the sludge settling promote optimal working conditions of electrostatic field composite of ultrasonic are: the electrode into the water depth L=40sm, ultrasonic time t=3min, ultrasonic power is 50%, the sludge concentration of 4000mg/L. the sludge settling properties are better at this point, compared with the control group, SV30 can be reduced by more than 80%, the settling velocity increases up to 6 times.2) The activity of the sludge optimum working conditions by ultrasonic complex electrostatic field as follows: ultrasonic power is 50%, ultrasonic time is t=3min, electrodes into the water depth is L=40sm, sludge concentration is 4000mg/L. In this case the maximum oxygen consumption rate of sludge, the decline can be up to 60% in the concentration of dissolved oxygen compared to the control group. Study shows, the activity of the sludge is significantly improved. It was found that, the sludge up to 50% increase in oxygen consumption rate when in the above conditions. Ultrasonic composite of electrostatic field can promote microbial growth by analyzing sludge biological phase. Ultrasonic complex electrostatic field has the effect of improving the performance of sludge sedimentation.
