Phthalocyanine and its derivatives are wildly used in many areas, for example: dye enriched, sterilization, bleaching fabrics, photodynamic therap, biomimetic catalysis, biosensors and so on. Metal phthalocyanines are usually used as catalysts in redox, rearrangement, D-A and other reactions. Metal phthalocyanines possess some advantages such as high catalytic activity, environment-friendly, and easily separated from the reaction system when they are used as catalysts. With the good biological activity in the field of medicine synthetic drugs for treating cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine and 1,4-dihydropyridine are very important drug intermediates. Series of multi-substituted 1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine and 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives are successfully synthesized through the method of "one pot synthesis" and NO2-PcFe(â…¢)@C as catalyst from the perspective of green synthesis. This method have the advantages of simple operation, no pollution, high yield, easy purification. This paper is divided into three parts:the first part is introduced the synthesis and applications of phthalocyanine,1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine and 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives briefly; the second part, with aromatic aldehydes, aromatic amines, ethyl acetoacetate as raw materials, NO2-PcFe(â…¢)@C as catalyst, a series of multi-substituted 1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine derivatives were achieved; the third part, using NO2-PcFe(â…¢)@C as catalyst, a series of multi-substituted 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives were synthesized in a high yield from the raw materials aromatic aldehydes, double ketone, ethyl acetoacetate, ammonium acetate.
