In recent years, the fog and haze has become a serious problem for people, thus the calls for environmental protection become more and more stronger. The automobile exhaust emissions is one of the important reasons for the formation of haze, especially the massive emissions of SOX from the oil combustion products of sulfide, therefore, many countries have instituted strict national standards for fuel oil. The development of low-sulfur or sulfur-free fuel production technology, has become the focus of many researcher’s attention.Ionic liquid is a new kind of environment-friendly functional material, which has many excellent properties compared with other materials, including:good thermal stability, excellent reusability, less volatile and low vapor pressure. In addition, the molecular structure of Ionic liquid can be designed individually depending on the actual application. Therefore, the ionic liquid has a very good application prospect in many fields, especially suitable for removing sulfide in oil products. Ionic liquid has aroused widespread attention of many researchers, and a series of ionic liquids which are suitable for removal of sulfide are successively reported. Ionic liquid exhibits a broad application prospect in the desulfurization of oil products.In this paper, two series functional ionic liquids, B acidic ionic liquid and B-L dual acidic ionic liquid were designed and synthesized, and the sulfur removal of the model gasoline was investigated using the two series of ionic liquids. The desulfurization process was optimized with single factor experiment. Besides, the ionic liquid reusability was investigated.(1) A series of B acidic ionic liquid [BMIM]HSO4, [EMIM]HSO4 [HMIM]HSO4, [BPy]HSO4 were synthesized, and the oxidative coupling extraction removal effect of Dibenzothiophene (DBT) in model gasoline was investigated using the four kinds of ionic liquids. Among them, [BMIM]HSO4 display the highest desulfurization rate for model gasoline.(2) The desulfurization rate of [BMIm]HSO4 was investigated under different conditions of oxidation and extraction desulfurization method. The results show that the sulfur removal of DBT in model oil could reach 98.2% in 60 min at 60℃ with n(H2O2)/n(S)=5 and a dosage of ionic liquids 2 mL. The ionic liquid [BMIM]HSO4 could be recycled 6 times with merely a slight decrease in activity(3) A series of B-L dual acidic ionic liquid M/FeCl3, M/CuCl2,M/ZnCl2 were synthesized, and their desulfurization performances were compared. Ionic liquids M/FeCl3 show higher desulfurization rate compared with the other two types of ionic liquids. Moreover, ionic liquids M/FeCl3 show highest desulfurization rate when FeCl3/M=1 in ionic liquids.(4) The desulfurization rates of ionic liquids M/FeCl3 were investigated under different conditions of oxidation and extraction desulfurization method. The results show that the sulfur removal of DBT in model oil could reach 99.3% in 30 min at 30℃ with n(H2O2)/n(S)=4 and dosage of ionic liquids 2 mL. The ionic liquid M-FeCl3 could be recycled 6 times with merely a slight decrease in activity(5) Under the same conditions, the effects of the different sulfide to the sulfur removal rate of model gasoline were studied. The results show that the order of the removal of different types of sulfide is DBT> 4,6-DMDBT> BT> TS, no matter in B acidic ionic liquid [BMIM]HSO4 or B-L dual acidic ionic liquid M-FeCl3.
