The waste water contenting high concentration of ammonia nitrogen is currently one of the most important research topic. Simulated waste water contenting high concentration of ammonia nitrogen(500 mg / L) had been processed using Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor(MBBR).Activated sludge form waste water treatment plant and garden soil was used for the inoculation and biofilm culturing on the activated carbon. Effects of aeration time, anaerobic stirring time, precipitation time, temperature, ammonia concentration, aeration capacity, and the pH value on removal rate of CODMn and NH3-N in the simulated waste water contenting high concentration of ammonia nitrogen were investigated. At the same time, the best running programme of MBBR was determined by Orthogonal test. The results show that the aeration time, anaerobic stirring time, precipitation time, temperature, ammonia concentration, aeration volume, and the pH value have impact on the removal rate of CODMn and NH3-N of the simulated ammonia nitrogen waste water contenting high concentration. Removal rates of CODMn and NH3-N reached 55.15 % and 63.49 % respectively under the condition of aeration time for 6h and anaerobic stirring time for 2h. Removal rates of CODMn and NH3-N decreased slowly with the increased concentration of ammonia. This showed that the reactor has a powerful resistance to impact load. The largest removal rate of CODMn and NH3-N is obtained when pH value is 7.5.It is found that removal rate of CODMn and NH3-N for the second method are more higher than that of the first one.The process of aeration 12 h, then stirring 1h, to precipitation 1h is determined. Orthogonal test results are as follows: ammonia concentration had the largest impact on the remove rate of NH3-N. The best solution to removal rate of NH3-N is aeration 10 h, stirring 2 h, precipitation 1.5 h, temperature of 30 ℃, pH for 7.5, aeration capacity of 0.3 m3 / h, ammonia concentration of 500 mg / L. Daqing Refining Company refinery sewage efflux performing a secondary emission standards, according to the State Environmental Protection Department issued the "oil refining industry emission standards", started the latest standards from July 1, 2017. In this thesis, high ammonia concentrations refinery wastewater, biodegradability poor water quality characteristics, determine the suspended biofilm process is suitable for the water quality, namely "MBBR" process, ammonia removal efficiency reached 80%, a refining sewage discharge meet the national environmental protection issued by the Ministry of "Oil refining industry emission standards".
