Serious sand production of horizontal well in the process of steam stimulation is a big problem plagued by heavy oil exploitation progress.In this paper, according to the field conditions, study the solid-liquid two-phase flow law which under different well conditions and different fluid properties after steam soak in wellbore. PIV particle image velocimetry technology has the advantages of full flow testing, intuitive and no interference to the flow field and so on, so this paper uses the PIV equipment to test the solid-liquid two-phase flow field in the horizontal pipe. Firstly, confirm liquid and solid particles of flow parameters in the horizontal wellbore at the late stage of steam soaking, selection of the appropriate mathematical model of solid-liquid two-phase flow, then①Study on the principle of measurement and the using method of the PIV device. ②Confirm the design scheme that simulation of solid-liquid two-phase flow in horizontal Tube required. ③ Test four parameters conclude flow rate, viscosity, particle volume fraction, particle size that influence on the flow pattern of two-phase flow. ④Image of the tracer particles, correlation analysis of these collected image.By study on the principle of measurement and the using method of the PIV device, conduct the physical simulation experiment to verify the numerical simulation, the results of solid-liquid two-phase flow pattern are in agreement with simulation data. PIV test process mainly consider about the wellbore flow velocity, viscosity, particle volume fraction and the effect of particle size on the flow state of wellbore, find out the biggest impact factors on wellbore solid particle volume fraction, the fixed layer height, the liquid phase pressure drop and other flow state, obtain the influence law of different parameters on the carrying capacity of solid particles within the wellbore, thus for the moderate sanding production process design of sandstone reservoir in late stage of steam stimulation and the design of thermal recovery in heavy oil sanding reservoir provide a theoretical basis.
