The beam pumping unit is the main production equipment which occupies an important position in the oil field production. Braking system of a beam pumping unit is a very important operation control device, the brake is flexible and reliable, and plays a decisive role in the safety of the pumping unit operations. The brake evocable security problems emerge in endlessly in the process of site operation.Remote monitoring and operating system has entered the oil machinery field. Part of the oil field pumping unit also has realized the computer network, remote data acquisition, job running the whole monitoring. But the brake parts of the beam pumping unit is always manual control, can’t realize remote operation. This paper designed an alternative to the conventional manual braking device of electric, hydraulic, mechanical brake new brakes. This paper illustrates in detail the working principle of new type brake, and the device of the parts was designed, using SolidWorks software to create a complete set of three-dimensional entity model of the system. According to the performance parameters of the beam pumping unit, analyze the action process of the brake specific and corresponding actuators; The corresponding hydraulic circuit design; And the force analysis of various hydraulic actuators, choose the suitable model.Using ADAMS, the kinematics and dynamics theory, derived the brake push rod hydraulic cylinder and a joystick in the hinge points of displacement, velocity and acceleration equations. In view of the ADAMS/Hydraulics module, and then established the mathematical model into ADAMS software in SolidWorks, and the establishment of the hydraulic system of braking device in Hydraulics module. Then the brake mechanism of mechanical system and hydraulic system in the Hydraulics module simulation, simulation of the actual working conditions of pumping unit brake system. To understand the co simulation of the mechanical movement simulation curve and the ADAMS curve of hydraulic obtained through observation, can provide a theoretical basis for on-site commissioning.
