The metal nanomaterials possesses chemical and physical properties of metal and the special properties of nanomaterials. So remarkable achievements which were made by metal nanomaterials had effect on various fields of science and society since its birth. It is widely used in the field of electrochemical sensors as the most important nanomaterials in this filed. The unique properties of metal nanomaterials was used to construct electrochemical sensors. It not only provided the unique electrochemical catalysis to relevant material, but also improved the performance of the sensors, including reducing the overpotential, enhancing and improving the sensitivity of electrode. Thus the sensors based on metal nanomaterials became a hot issue in the field.According to the above-mentioned characteristics, in this work, metal nanomaterials sensors based on gold nanoparticles were fabricated. The research mainly discussed the detection for nitrite and acetaminophen based on sensors.1. DVD-origin nanostructured Ag-Au electrode for nitrite sensorA facile and fast acid-etching method had been used to leach out silver from a bimetallic gold-silver based Digital Video Disc(DVD) substrate to form gold nanostructures. The resulted DVD electrode was then further treated via an electrochemical technique in a certain concentration of acid solution to activate the electrode. Electrocatalytic experiments showed that the resulting nanostructured Ag-Au electrode showed high electro-catalytic oxidation properties of nitrite(NO2-). The as-prepared electrode demonstrated its wide linear range and excellent stability toward nitrite.2. Poly(o-anisidine)- camphorsulfonic acid fiber based on electrospinning technique to construct senor for nitrite and acetaminophen detectionThe electrode modified by poly(o-anisidine) camphorsulfonic acid fiber with the help of electrostatic spinning was studied in this research. It was found that the modified electrodes showed significant catalytic oxidation towards acetaminophen and nitrous acid, which broken the only a single performance shortcomings of chemical sensors.3. Gold nanoparticles and poly(o-anisidine) fiber compounds modified electrodes for the detection of nitriteThe sensor was prepared by deposited Au nanoparticles on the poly(o-anisidine) fiber with one-step potentiostatic deposition technology. Electrocatalytic experiments showed that the resulting electrode showed high response signal of nitrite. The detection of nitrite showed wide linear range and excellent stability. The sensor had the following advantages: simple operation, easy preparation, wide linear range, which was due to the synergy effect of gold nanoparticles and conductive polymers. More important was that the preparation of metal nanoparticles/conductive composites were usually adopt the method of electrochemical technique priorly, this section introduced electrostatic spinning to prepare metal nanoparticles/conductive composite material.
