Pentachtorophenol (PCP) is a kind of high-chlorinated phenols organic pollutants, it has been listed as one of the key priority pollutants in our environment to control because of its carcinogenicity and unbiodegradable characteristics which can easily do harm to human. This paper studied on treatment of pentchlorophenol by micro-oxygen activated sludge system with micro-magnetic field. It will provide useful informations on the parameters and endorsement for the wastewater treatment.First, The activated sludge used anaerobic sludge as seed sludge, cultured under micro-aerobic conditions, magnetic powder in addition, and set up the no magnetic particle reactor as a contrast. In training process, we increased the PCP concentration gradually, and studied the micro-magnetic activated sludge influence on degradation of PCP. Throughout the domestication process, PCP and CODCr removal rates in the micro-magnetic reactor are higher than that in the non-magnetic powder reactor. And after 121days, PCP concentrations were up to 15mg/L, the micro-magnetic activated sludge system still remained high activity, PCP and CODCr removal rates respectively reached 84.75%,84.48%, Cl- generation reached 7.94mg/L, dehydrogenase value was 614.06mg/L, and the sludge had good physical and chemical characteristics and settling properties. When the PCP concentration is higher than 20mg/L, microbial activity was inhibited severely, the reactor needed a long time to recovery. Then, the paper used GC-MS to analyze the PCP degradation products in the domestication process and found that the derivative product of aerobic dechlorination and aerobic open-loop in the result, indicating that the system of anaerobic and aerobic microbial can be co-metabolism mineralization PCP. Compared with the control group, the magnetic powder played an important role for the dominant bacteria enrichment, degradation for PCP and its degradation intermediates.Finally, it examined the DO concentration、amount of glucose and pH influence on the micro-magnetic activated sludge system, and using no magnetic particle reactor as a control. Obtained the optimum conditions of the micro-magnetic activated sludge system:DO concentration was 0.6mg/L, the addition amount of the glucose was about 1600mg/L, pH was about 7. And the presence of the magnetic field significantly polished up micro-aerobic activated sludge system, making PCP, CODCr removal rate and sludge physicochemical characteristics were superiorto non-magnetic group.
