| With the improvement of people’s living standard, the plastic products industry has developed rapidly in our country. Plastic garbage brings pressure to the environment, and the best way to disposed of them is to recycle and reuse. But the plastic has many kinds, so it becomes necessary to sort different waste plastic. Now in the method of using wind to sort plastic waste at home and abroad, the single direction of wind causes the wind effect time is limited in the process of sorting, which makes low separation efficiency. This paper sorts different density plastic waste using Cyclone separator according to the principle of gravity separation. In this paper, the main research contents are as follows:(1)Through the separated principle of the device is analyzed, the two levels cyclone separator which fit to separate the waste plastics is designed; through the physical model and mathematical model of the two eddy currents are analyzed, the Euler model is selected at the separation of the waste plastics; According to the law of conservation of momentum and law of conservation of mass, the mathematical model about the plastic particles and gas phase of separator is established, in order to achieve efficient separation of plastic garbage to lay a theoretical basis.(2)In numerical simulation, according the analysis of different turbulence model, discrete format and pressure interpolation scheme to establish the most suitable numerical methods is RSM turbulence model, QUICK format and using pressure interpolation format is PRESTO! format as in the cyclone separator is three-dimensional rotational flow characteristics, provide for the simulation method of the waste plastic’s separation in the cyclone.(3)The mainstream flow field is double-deck flow within the cyclone separator: the direction of the outer vortex flow is down, the direction of the center of vortex flow is upward, and both are at the same direction of rotation. The maximum axial velocity forms a CS which separate inside and outside vortex. CS is a separation plane of different density waste plastic which Internal is smaller density of waste plastics, and the external is a bigger density. External plastic rotates to escape from the discharging mouth, while the internal plastic rotates escape from the overflow mouth.(4)By the method of orthogonal test,the different parameters of the separator and work processes of separation in different operation are simulated, the efficiency of two levels cyclone separator which is used for separating the waste plastics in different experiment parameters is obtained. Through the results of experiment are analyzed and calculated, the best combine between parameters and operated conditions of the two levels cyclone separator which is used for separating the waste plastics, this make the waste plastics be separated efficiently. |
