With the development of living standards, the demand for the flour’s quality become very high and wheat impurity is a key factor that affects the flour quality. At present, in the flour quality laboratory, the clean-up work before grinding mainly rely on manual method to pick stone. The research of experimental grain cleaning equipment in domestic is relatively scarce, although the foreign grain company has supplied a variety of products about the laboratory equipment, but the product function is too single. Therefore, the research and development of combined laboratory cleaning equipment need to be solved. This paper is mainly through the research of the existing grain cleaning equipment, combined the grain quality experiment’s demand, based on the theoretical study of screening, gravity grading, and numerical analysis tools, such as ANSYS Workbench and Fluent, to research the related technology of combined laboratory grain cleaning equipment, design a new combined laboratory grain cleaning equipment to meet the requirement of modern grain flour experiment. The main contents are as follows:(1)Combined with the existing grain cleaning process and related equipment, according to the work which the combined laboratory cleaning equipment required, through market research, to complete the principle scheme of the combined laboratory cleaning equipment, to determine the clear scheme and the scheme of dust removal; Through the analysis of the parameter which affect the screen efficiency, to determine the sieve parameter.(2) A wind circulation type secondary dust removal system which includes the primary inertial dust removal and secondary cyclone. Through the theory calculation of the wind network system and wind resistance, and physical property analysis of grain impurity, the design of wind dust removal system of the combined laboratory grain cleaning equipment is completed.(3) According to the analysis and data processing of flow simulation analysis results, a planar wind plate and a reverse blowing plate are used in the specific gravity grading so that airflow distribution in the whole stone screen is more uniform and the material can be half a state of suspension. At last the structure form of the specific gravity grading is combined with a planar wind plate and a reverse blowing plate.(4)Determine the transmission device, screen gravity grading and other specific structure of equipment, based on 3D design software Pro/E to model combined laboratory grain cleaning equipment,complete the whole structure design and all engineering drawing. Based on the ANSYS Workbench to analyze the key parts, to ensure the rationality of the design and optimize the structure design.(5) The Engineering drawings and other engineering documents of the combined laboratory grain cleaning equipment are completed for in-depth study of late prototype manufacture and provide technical preparation.Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation study show that the design of the principle scheme of the combined cleaning equipment and the mechanism design of the specific gravity grading and screening completely meet the requirements of food quality laboratory use.
