This paper studied about the effect of different cement modulus, mineralizer and burning temperature on the Portland cement clinker burning and the clinker properties by using Yellow River silt sand as siliceous raw material.The results show that, compared with the sandstone, using the Yellow River silt sand(containing high degree of crystallization of SiO2) as the siliceous raw material to prepare raw meal, the burnability of raw meal was bad, the free lime content of the clinker was higher and the initial and final setting time extended obviously, and the various age strengths lowered.When increase the value of KH, the free lime content of the clinker increased, but the setting time shortened and the various age strengths improved. When increase the value of SM, the amount of liquid phase of clinker gradually reduced, the movement and diffusion rate of ions in the clinker become slow, so the free lime content of the clinker increased, but the setting time shortened and the various age strengths improved on the whole; When SM reached 3.0,there were less liquid in the clinker, so the late strengths of cement were effected. When increase the value of IM, the liquid viscosity increased, the free lime content of the clinker also increased, but the content of C3 A in the clinker increased, the various age strengths improved; When IM reached 2.8, the growth of cement strengths were not obvious.Adding a moderate amount of desulfurization gypsum in raw meal as a mineralizer, and increasing the amount of desulfurization gypsum, the free lime content of the clinker gradually reduced, the initial and final setting time shortened and the various age strengths improved; Comparing with the blank sample, the cement sample with great increase of the age strengths; When the amount of SO3 is 2.0%, the cement sample has high early strengths;When the amount of SO3 is 2.5%, the late strengths of cement is higher.When burning the clinker of cement under the temperature of 1450℃and1470℃, the study found that with the increase of temperature, the free lime content of the clinker decreased significantly, but the content of C3 S in the clinker increased, the initial and final setting time shortened and the various age strengths improved.
