The fluorite and barite resources of China are divided into simple and associated, and now the utilization of fluorite and barite is from the simple ore. Simple ore has the advantages of high grade and easy separation. But with the increase of demand for products, their reserves are insufficient obviously. In order to make up for the shortage, we only can exploit associated ore for development. Fluorite and barite usually co-exist with lead-zinc ore, tungsten-tin ore and rare earth ore, and which associated with rare earth minerals have the largest resource and the most concentrated distribution. Thus developing an beneficiation process to fluorite and barite in the rare earth mine is an effective way to relieve the strain on resources and prevent the waste of resources. But associated fluorite and barite resource develop slowly in geological evaluation and the mineral processing technology, so this thesis will focus on the research to these problems.For the above situation, this paper set the fluorite and barite of rare earth ore in Maoniuping, Sichuan as the main object. After identify the properties of the elements and mineral in the ore, the author determine the research contents, which are the study of the pre-enrichment of rare earth test and the fluorite and barite concentration test. In rare earth pre-enrichment test, the author focuses on the effective of flotation, gravity separation and magnetic separation to the recovery of fluorite and barite, and the result is that only the magnetic separation can not only guarantee the of recovery rare earth, but also create the favorable conditions for subsequent flotation. Fluorite and barite ore dressing test focuses on the applicability between the bulk and selective flotation, in which the influence of grinding fineness and beneficiation reagent. The result shows that the best process is bulk flotation, the grinding fineness is70%passing75μm, the gangue depressant is GSK-2, the barite depressant is KG-7, and the collector is KG-4, and then improve the grade of CaF2in flotation fluorite to98%through the combine process of magnetic separation-classification. In the end, the author raise a new process of "magnetic separation of rare earths under coarse grinding, float fluorite and barite grinding under regrinding, magnetic separation and classification improve the grade of fluorite concentrate jointly". The result indicates that a high-quality fluorite concentrate assaying98.39%CaF2, and a low-quality fluorite concentrate assaying94.55%CaF2, with a total recovery of87.77%could be obtained, a barite concentrate assaying88.78%BaSO4, with a total recovery of65.65%could be obtained, and a rough REO concentrate assaying21.75%REO with a total recovery of93.68%could be obtained.In order to find out the reasons of low recovery of fluorite flotation in selective flotation, so for the change if flotability of fluorite, which is activation after inhibited flotation, and the collector, inhibitors and activators test of single mineral flotation behavior research has been carried out. The Zeta potential analysis and infrared spectrum analysis have been utilized to explain the problem of it,At last there is a comprehensive recovery of rare earth, fluorite and barite in rare earth ore of Maoniuping, Sichuan with high efficiency through this research, at the same time, it provides reference and theoretical basis for the similar resources.
