This dissertation main focus to synthesis the high molecular weight polymers, taking advantage of the interaction between azide and terminal alkyne by the addition reaction of circular click chemical method with the catalyst of Cu I. In order to enhance the abilities of solubility, optical performance and other related properties, we design new huge structure unites, which contained xanthene and lateral group of trifluoromethyl. With this idea, the novel polymer of polytriazole comprising xanthene group has been synthesized and characterized.1. Using 9,9-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)xanthene(BHPX) reacted with 3-bromo-propyne,the 9,9- bis(4-(2- propynoxy)phenyl) xanthene(BYPX) was obtained. The total yield is 75%.The Ar(N3)2 was obtained in the present of aromatic diamine and Na N3. The symmetric of Ar(NH2)2 was obtained by the reaction of the symmetric Ar(OH)2 and 2-chloro-5-nitro-benzotrifluoride and the reduction of the resulting dinitro compound. And then, The Ar(N3)2 was obtained by the reaction of aromatic diamine and Na N3.2. The Ar(N3)2 was obtained by the reaction of aromatic diamine and Na N3.Furthermore, the polymerization of Ar(N3)2 and BYPX was happened in the solvent of dry THF in 60°C. A series of PTAs obtained were soluble in dipolar solvent such as DMSO, DMAc, NMP. The inherent viscosities of the PTA ranged from 0.40–0.55 d L/g. The glass transition temperature of those ranged about215°C and the decomposition temperature at 5% weight ranged about 230°C.Furthermore, PTAs exhibited outstanding solubility. In addition, the PTAs films exhibited good optical transparency. However, it showed not the great thermal stability.3. The polymerization of Ar(N3)2 containing trifluoromethyl pendant group and BYPX was reacted in the solvent of dry THF, A series of trifluoromethyl PTAs obtained were soluble in dipolar solvent such as DMSO, DMAc, NMP, and also in a less efficient solvent such as CHCl3 and pyridine. The inherent viscosities of the PTA ranged from 0.40–0.73 d L/g. The glass transition temperature of those ranged about 210°C and the decomposition temperature at 5% weight ranged about 230°C. Furthermore, PTAs exhibited outstanding solubility. In addition, the PTAs films exhibited good optical transparency. However, it showed not the greatthermal stability.we discussed two kinds Azide monomer combining trifluoromethyl, and made various polymerization in difference ration such as1/9,3/7,5/5,7/3,9/1. With the above analogous procedures, series of polymers were prepared. The results demonstrated that all of the inherent viscosity is between 0.52 and 0.83 dl/g, all of this determine promising mechanical performance and the molecular weight is really increased a lot. Due to the introducing of trifluoromethyl, some functions, such as solubility, hydrophobicity, optical performance and electrical(conductive) properties, all have a obvious relative increase.
