On account of the development of industry, economic and culture, the living needs of people have been changed. More and more people hope to be outstanding and different from others through many fashion things. This study starts from the idea that the culture is the resources. Through the study of the Qin culture, we hope to find the contribution it brings to people’s life, and then some idea for modern design come into being.Research process of this topic:1) This study begins with the semiotics, and discusses the background of theory from the perspective of pragmatics and product semiotics. Meanwhile collecting a large number of literature, and determine the scope of the study and the samples of research.2) Then the author use the method of perceptual engineering to design experiment of samples, and deal with the experiment data in Excel system.3) Following is to sort experiment result according to the semantic similarity and Center for Chinese Linguistics(CCL), and get two group of perceptual words about Qin culture characteristic.4) The study will give the definition of the Qin dynasty, and choose the Qin Terra Cotta Warriors, Qin bronze tripod, Qin eaves tiles and Qin small seal script as study samples. Then extract the characteristics of Qin culture words: “Vigorous and firm, Domineering, Capable and vigorous, Ready steady, Solemnity and bold vigorousâ€, “Vigorous, Meticulous, Graceful, Elegant, Freeâ€. At last, the author analy the morphology characteristic with the pictures of samples, and use in clothing design.This study reaches its purpose in the end. It gets the main characteristics words about the Qin culture and its syntactic characteristic. It can be a reference to help people put Qin culture into fashion design and clothing brand. |
