It mainly consists of three aspects.The researches on the mathematical model and control optimization of furnace are summarized in the recent 30 years. And their respective advantages and disadvantages are analyzed for the multiple regression model, prediction model, dynamic model and thermal balance model, etc. The development trend of the furnace control technology is also analyzed.A fuzzy-immune-PID controller for a temperature-flow cascade control system with double cross limit control is designed based on the immunoregulatory principle of organism and fuzzy parameter self-tuning. The controller adopts a Fuzzy-immune controller to adjust the proportion parameter of traditional PID, and a fuzzy controller to adjust integral and differential parameters. The mathematical model of temperature-flow cascade control system with double cross limit control is established in this paper. The simulation is done by using the designed fuzzy-immune-PID controller. The simulation results show that the proposed control method has more advantage than a traditional PID on dynamic performance, adaptability and robustness.A fuzzy-PID control principle for a temperature-flow cascade control system of a HeBei steel mill is designed based on PLC programming. The implement methods of fuzzy-PID based on PLC is introduced and the fuzzy controller design method and the ladder diagram is given. The fuzzy controller is added in temperature-flow cascade control system of a He Bei steel mill. And the HeBei steel mill control system is simulated.
