This paper is combined with torch plan project of Ministry of science and technology "Yangzhou advanced manufacturing of automobile and parts and construction of testing and analysis Center (Number:2012GH530716)" and Yangzhou science and technology plan project "Different thickness laser tailor welded blank precision forming technology and mould development of passenger vehicle", make the different thickness laser tailor welded blank of V-shape manufactured by Jiangsu Kaming Mould Co.Ltd’s as the main research object, then set a research on the stamping formability of the different thickness laser tailor welded blank and the influence factors of formability is optimized. The main research content of this paper are as follows:Firstly, this paper reviews the concept, the classification and research status at home and abroad of laser tailor welded blank, summarizes the application situation and discusses the problems existed of it.Secondly, this paper analyze plastic forming mechanics of different thickness laser tailor welded blank theoretically in the tensile test. Then, this paper adopts different thickness B340/590DP and SPH590 as tailor welded blank parent metal, research the material mechanics property of parent metal and tailor welded blank with different forms of weld, at the same time, the relationship between the initial position of weld and weld line movement distance is discussed, and analysis the relationship between the initial welding position and the formability of laser tailor welded blanks.Thirdly, based on theoretical research and the forming properties experiment of laser tailor welded blank, using three-dimensional CAD software UG and CAE software AutoForm establish the finite element model, setting the formability evaluation index, then analyze the influence rules of laser tailor welded blank from different blank holder force, different parent metal strength ratio, different blank thickness ratio and different friction coefficient, it can provides certain reference and guidance role in the actual production.At last, when using the finite element analysis software AutoForm to perform numerical simulation, although it uses the single factor control method in the numerical simulation, it has many factors and these factors working together, so this paper uses the method of combining the orthogonal experiment design and numerical simulation for the multi-factor and multi-objective optimization design of different thickness laser tailor welded blank of V-shape. Through variance analysis, range analysis and significance analysis of the numerical simulation results, we obtain the degree of each factor affects the stamping formability and the weld line movements in order to get the optimal level combination of these factors, and then put the relevant data of the optimal level into software AutoForm and conduct the numerical simulation analysis, the simulation results meet the related accuracy requirementsThis paper makes a systematic study on the formability and weld line movement. Through the above research, it can improve the formability and reduce the weld line movements, and it will provide certain theoretical guidance in the actual production.
